Deep Settle Movement was launched in 2010 by three friends, Asanda, Fuzile and Chris, from the South African townships. In spite of our difficult upbringings, we shared a common passion of creating a fashion brand inspired by our surroundings. Therefore, we created Deep Settle Movement, which is a collaboration of urban lifestyle and township culture. All of Deep Settle's garments are manufactured in the South African townships providing an authentic feeling that most brands can't offer.

Having originated from Khayelitsha and Gugulethu, we wanted to create a brand inspired by township culture. We take pride in where we come from. We hope to inspire people from all over the world to take the positive aspects of their surroundings and create something beautiful. Because Deep Settle is proof that no matter where you're from, it can be the projects of New York, the favelas of Brazil or the townships of South Africa, creativity is everywhere.
